Happy 2 months!

Happy 2 months old to my sweet little baby!  Allison got to celebrate by going to the doctor to get a new cast....she wiggled out of her last one over the weekend and was very proud of herself!  :-)  It may have been a blessing, since we got squeezed in with a different doctor who actually would be doing her surgery, and we had a very positive visit.

Allison wrapped up her first 2 months by learning to "talk" and now regularly entertains us with her agoo's and hoohoohoo's.  :-)  Of course when I try to catch it on video, she stops and stares at the camera!  She also has learned to pinch me, haha.

Allison is often all smiles, especially when Than makes silly noises.  She can hold her head up when I'm holding her and got through her last bath without any tears.  She is such a blessing and my daily joy.  I love her so much!

I'm pregnant!

Yay, I'm pregnant!  I'm a little more tentative this time around after our miscarriage last August.  I wanted to get started on this, though, for the same reason I started one with my last pregnancy.  I would like to create a photo book from the blog to have as a keepsake after the baby is born.  Here's hoping and praying that this time around the baby is healthy and things keep progressing until a wonderful, healthy baby is born!

From what the Internet says (haha), my due date will be September 13, 2013.  I have not made a doctor's appointment yet.  I am going to wait a week and take another pregnancy test, and then make the appointment.

Needless to say I am very scared for another miscarriage.  I just can't help it.  There is no way of knowing what is going on until that first doctor's appointment.  With my last pregnancy, that's when everything came tumbling down, and 2 weeks later, I miscarried.  And then went to the ER.  And had a break-down.  ETC.  I am just trying to stay as stress-free as possible and do everything that I can possibly do.  However, I know that I can't control everything, and I need to let go of the worry that I cannot control.

Anyways, enough of that.

I am excited, and so is Than.  :-)  I haven't told anyone else yet.  I took the test on January 2nd, and had to wait the whole day until Than came home to tell him.  Needless to say, I didn't get much work done that day.  I was back on BabyCenter!  haha
